Answers are intentionally tied to the drawing and project scope. Final capability, certification, lead time and price are confirmed in the quotation.

What should I send for a CNC machining quote?+

Send a STEP or STP model plus a controlled PDF drawing whenever possible. Include material and condition, quantity, finish, critical tolerances or GD&T, inspection evidence, packaging needs and the requested delivery date.

Can KEC Tour quote both CNC milling and CNC turning?+

What tolerances can your CNC machining company hold?+

Capability depends on feature size, geometry, material, setup strategy, tool access, temperature and measurement method. Mark functional critical features on the drawing; KEC Tour confirms capability against the actual design rather than publishing one tolerance for every part.

Do you support prototypes and repeat production?+

Projects can be reviewed for one-off prototypes, design-validation batches, bridge quantities and repeat orders. The process, fixture, inspection and commercial plan are matched to the quantity and revision maturity.

How is material and inspection evidence handled?+

State the required material grade, condition, certificate type and traceability level in the RFQ. Inspection scope—such as dimensional reports, first-article evidence or specific gauge results—is agreed before the order and tied to the released drawing.

Can I review the factory before placing an order?+

Yes. Buyers can request a guided live-workshop review or remote factory audit. The scope should focus on relevant equipment, process controls, inspection capability and project communication while protecting other customers’ confidential information.
