One project, several routes
Housings, shafts, brackets and finished hardware can be mapped to the processes each shape needs.
CUSTOM METAL PARTS · FACTORY REVIEW FROM YOUR DRAWING
One machined component or a multi-part project: send a drawing, sample photo or parts list. We review each part’s geometry, material, quantity and critical features before quoting.
For drawing-defined industrial components—not catalog hardware or complete machines.
WHO WE ARE
KEC Tour is a Dongguan-based, factory-direct team for OEM buyers sourcing non-standard metal components. CNC machining, sheet metal, die-cast blanks and finishing can be discussed in one project when the parts must assemble together.
See the company and quality workflow →WHY BUYERS WORK WITH US
Housings, shafts, brackets and finished hardware can be mapped to the processes each shape needs.
Point out mating faces, fits and datums so the review focuses on how the pieces work together.
Carry the approved revision, sample decisions and inspection points into the batch quotation.
IS THIS THE RIGHT RFQ?
The right starting point is a drawing-defined component with a buyer who can describe how the part will be used.
OUR SERVICES
Tell us what the part must do. A shaft, enclosure and cast housing should not be treated as the same machining job.
Housings, brackets, plates and other features requiring pockets or mounting faces.
Shafts, sleeves, bushings and cylindrical interfaces.
Sheet metal, die casting and combined-process inquiries reviewed for suitability.
Surface treatment and verification specified with the drawing and order.
PART-TO-PROCESS MATCH
Start with the geometry you need; we will review the production route against your real drawing.

INTERACTIVE 3D · REPRESENTATIVE GEOMETRY
Rotate a representative housing, bracket, shaft or adapter. These models help discuss geometry; they are not customer-approved production CAD.
Model geometry illustrates part families only. Threads, tolerances and performance come from your approved drawing.ENGINEERING SPECIFICATION
A useful quote distinguishes a cosmetic requirement from a feature that makes the assembly work. Mark the latter clearly.
| Decision | What to define | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Approved revision | Drawing number, revision and any matching 3D file | Prevents pricing one version and building another. |
| Material and condition | Alloy, temper or hardness and any substitution rule | Changes the stock, tool plan and finish route. |
| Critical interfaces | Fits, datums, runout, flatness or sealing surfaces | Determines where process and inspection effort belong. |
| Quantity profile | Prototype quantity, repeat batch and forecast if known | Helps compare setup-heavy and repeatable routes. |
| After-machining work | Heat treatment, coating, marking and protected areas | May change dimensions and handling after machining. |
| Acceptance evidence | First article, measurement report, material record or packing rule | Lets the quote include the proof procurement expects. |
Use this as a discussion guide. Final requirements come from the approved drawing, application standard and purchase documents.
RFQ FILE PACK
A complete pack reduces clarification rounds. You can still start with a sample or partial drawing.
Use a 2D PDF and 3D STEP/STP file if available; show the current revision.
Give each part number its material, prototype quantity and expected repeat volume.
Mark mating parts, interface dimensions, datums and any functional surfaces.
Add target date, finishing, inspection documents and packing instructions.
No finished drawing yet? Send the sample photo and the dimensions you know; identify what remains undecided.

ILLUSTRATIVE ASSEMBLY STUDY
This illustrative bracket/base/fastener animation shows why mating faces, hole locations and the approved revision matter across a multi-part RFQ. It does not validate a customer assembly.
APPLICATION & SOURCING DECISIONS
For a multi-part RFQ, ask how each quoted line handles setup, sample approval and repeat supply.
Each part number needs its own revision, material, quantity and process route. A combined project should still have clear line items.
A sample route may be useful for validation, while repeat volume can justify different tooling, fixturing or inspection.
Finishing, deburring, assembly fit, documentation and packing affect the delivered part even when the cut geometry is simple.
SAMPLE TO BATCH
The handoff should preserve the approved revision, the features checked on the sample and the agreed finish and packing.
We separate the requirements for every drawing and revision.
We review machining access, material and any additional process needs.
We ask about missing dimensions, quantities or acceptance criteria.
The proposed route, finish and inspection are recorded for your order.
INSPECTION & DOCUMENTATION
Availability and scope of reports or certificates are confirmed in the quotation. Product renders illustrate geometry; they are not records of a delivered customer part.
Certificates are issued to Dongguan Xuxiang Precision Metal Products Co., Ltd. KEC Tour is the website brand, not the named certificate holder. Ask us to confirm the manufacturing entity, certified site, scope and applicability to your order.

Tell us before you upload controlled drawings. We can discuss the confidentiality agreement and the permitted review scope first. Share only files your organization authorizes you to disclose.
BEFORE YOU SEND
Yes. Identify the drawing number, revision, material and quantity for each line item.
A photo can start a discussion. Dimensions and specifications may be needed for a reliable quotation.
Yes. Contact us to discuss the NDA and permitted review scope before uploading controlled files.
No. They show representative geometry. Your approved files define the production part.
EXPLORE THE RIGHT ROUTE
Move between the part family, manufacturing route and company evidence without losing the path back to this RFQ.
Include part numbers, revisions, quantities and the features that matter at assembly. We can then respond to the project, not just one isolated drawing.
